A multimedia light art installation for LewesLight
The StudioFractal design team are creating an immersive light Installation for Lewes Light - to be found off the high street at North Court, Lewes on the 13th, 14th and 15th of October. Free to view between the hours of 7-11 pm.
The dynamic piece is inspired by Malcolm Rose’s Harpsichord workshop, where instruments are built, repaired and replica models created. The installation will bring to life the entrancing music of the past. Illustrating this fascinating musical heritage through a pathway of strings, architecture framed with UV activating tape and illustrated sound waves. The design uses UV light, animated projectors and sound to bring to life the music, craft and historic site.
Many thanks to all the manufacturers, engineers and educational facilities who have given their support to this project including - Rosco, iGuzzini, Binary Lighting, Architainment, Steve Burgan Music Production and Sussex Downs College.
We hope to see you there!
