Royal Opera House wins Award of Excellence

In the 37th Annual International Lighting Design Ceremony last night (conducted in an unprecedented online celebration), The Royal Opera House was awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence for reaching new heights in aesthetic and technical lighting design excellence.

One of only eight projects worldwide to receive this award, the judges recognised the exemplary judgement and skill exercised in creating a cohesive and finely detailed lighting installation that blends heritage and contemporary architecture and helps to convey the excitement and creativity of the Opera House performances.
