Arora Sofitel - Terminal 5, London Heathrow

A comprehensive lighting strategy has been successfully implemented at the 5-star Arora Sofitel adjacent to Heathrow’s Terminal 5. The lighting design remit included all internal public and circulation areas and exteriors; including two bars, three restaurants, private dining rooms, a full conference/ballroom facility, Japanese garden, health spa and in-house theatre.The lighting approach balanced amenity, accent and feature lighting throughout all front of house areas with a particular focus on enhancing materials and finishes, creating an array of atmospheric changes from bright welcoming daytime environments to a more relaxed evening ambience.
