Big Data Institute, Oxford

The Big Data Institute (BDI) is a key building on the University of Oxford’s Old Road Campus. A primary aspect of the brief was to create a space that united the best of the traditional academic environment with the best of today’s commercial workplace.

Working closely with architects MAKE, Studiofractal focussed on creating warm and welcoming front of house areas whilst introducing a hint of the staggering computing power housed within the development.
