British Airways ‘First Class Wing’ Dedicated Premium Passenger Route - Terminal 5, London Heathrow

The much anticipated First Class Wing at Heathrow‘s Terminal 5, is now open for business: enabling clientele to proceed from landside to the First Class Lounges in under five minutes.

StudioFractal were invited to join the design team to create an atmospheric and luxury security portal suitable for a first-class experience. Alongside Architect’s Pascall & Watson and contractor Mace, the StudioFractal team worked meticulously to develop designs within the challenging project deadlines. The scope included all lighting components along with the development of a feature wall. StudioFractal’s experience within high-quality luxury projects helped create a nuanced approach to lighting materials, textures, colours and people movement to help create levels of quality and elegance reminiscent of a luxury hotel lobby.
