A major feature of Dublin Airport’s Terminal 3 lighting strategy was the bespoke ceiling. StudioFractal worked with the architects to help develop a series of 3-metre spheroid forms sitting rhythmically across the soffit with an integrated colour changing lighting system. The integrated lighting, digitally controlled, provides amenity lighting alongside the aesthetic installation with a changeable program of colours incorporating corporate colours and events to enhance the airport environment.
