Täby Centrum, Stockholm, Sweden

Working in close collaboration with architects Dunnett Craven, StudioFractal completed comprehensive lighting designs for the phased reconstruction and extension of one of Stockholm’s major regional centres. The competition-winning design included a careful remodelling of the existing malls, with new public spaces and an active edge that holds the northern side of a new square designed by Polyform Arkitekter. Each zone is lit with a tailored approach to enhance the architectural detailing, provide clear wayfinding and create relaxing zones throughout the centre.

The scheme comprises bespoke glass pendant arrangements and activated ceilings enhancing the modern interiors and providing shoppers with an exciting and unique shopping experience. The Mall has since received several awards, including "Best Swedish Shopping Centre" in 2014 and "Best Nordic Shopping Centre" in 2015 by the Nordic Council of Shopping Centers.
